Exercise 1 grading

Question

Hello! 2 options are correct in a question. If the question carries 5 points for correct answer, I select one correct and one incorrect answer. Why's it 0.83 points instead of 2.5?

Are there negative markings for wrong answers or is it an error and would be manually rechecked after the automated grading?

Hello,

Each correct answer adds points, and each incorrect answer subtracts points; otherwise, marking everything as correct would yield full points.

In this case, the question yields 5 points.

Two answers are correct adding 2.5 = 5/2 points
Three answers are incorrect substracting 1.66 = 5/3 points

This leaves 0.83 points
